Analysing Walking Comfort in Singapore
Our team designed and executed a research study to compare comfort levels of pedestrians walking in Elevated Pedestrian Links and ground level Through-Block Links. For this particular study, we chose Jem as the area of interest. Being a full-fledged research study, there were 3 main frameworks that we used to ensure that it was hollistic and comprehensive:

1. Design Thinking
Collection of user and environmental data through surveys and on-site observations.

2. Data Analysis Methods
Text/sentiment analysis based on user interviews, Hypothesis Testing and Logistic Regression Modelling to generate insights.

3. Blue Ocean Strategy
To facilitate policy recommendations after insight generation.

Manpower allocation and managing timelines was crucial since this project had multiple pipelines that were running simulteneously. In the end, I am proud to say that our team was able to meaningfully contribute in taking Singapore one step closer to becoming a highly walkable Smart City.
